BEHIND THE LENS —
My Story.
My love for photos began at an early age. Growing up, my parents always had a camera around and when I was in middle school, they got me my first camera—a bright blue Nikon Coolpix. I brought it everywhere and practically forced my friends to do photoshoots. Once college rolled around, I was pretty much hooked on photography as an art form and decided to shift my focus from landscapes to weddings and portraiture. Now here I am five years later, still obsessed with capturing the world as it unfolds and feeling beyond elated that I get to tell people’s stories with my camera. While photography has my heart and is a big part of who I am, there is also so much more to my story. Here’s a quick synopsis:
-I do graphic design and social media work in addition to photography.
-Music has been a huge part of my life since forever and if I’m not shooting a wedding, there’s an 80% chance I’m bopping around at a concert.
-I’m an avid reader and also the fastest reader you’ll ever meet. Recent favorites include Run River by Joan Didion and The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
-If I had to choose my favorite place in the world, it would be a three-way tie between the North Shore, Paris, and a very specific, serene hillside in California. But if I’m being honest, being home with my fiancé, Dev, and our two cats is an easy winner.
-If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be sushi.
-By day, my drink of choice is an Alani mimosa energy drink (iykyk) and by night, it’s an aperol spritz.
My Why
Growing up, one of my favorite things to do was look through photo albums. I loved the feeling that would pass through me as I leafed through pages of our family vacations and various childhood memories. I’ve always been a particularly nostalgic person, romanticizing every little moment, and that’s something I’ve carried into my business.
Photos hold so much power, truly. I want you to look back on your photos years from now and be instantly transported. I want you to remember every emotion as you leaf through your own gallery—the laughter, the tears, the way your cheeks hurt from smiling so big, and everything in between. I’m in the business of preserving memories and I’m here to ensure that I do so in a way that is intentional and true to life.

From your first inquiry to our session(s) together, I want you to feel relaxed and confident - like you’ve just hired your best friend as your photographer. We’ll spend time discussing your vision and getting to know one another before your shoot, that way you’re perfectly at ease once it’s time for photos!
Adventure.
Admittedly, I’m not a super traditional photographer. I’m an advocate for rule-breaking, a lover of creative concepts, and a big fan of venturing off the beaten path - both figuratively and literally. Whatever your idea of adventure entails, I am so open to breaking out of our collective comfort zones to create artistic, memorable images.
AUTHENTICITY.
Photos have the power to showcase ones soul, which is why I strive to capture the raw + real moments in an honest way. To me, that means not only documenting the big moments as they unfold, but also taking a step back to focus on the smaller, more fleeting details that are easily missed. The genuine smiles, the goosebumps, the tear-soaked faces, the wind in your hair; they all deserve a space in your final gallery.
